Looking to get connected in 2024? Well save the day for YPC's 2024 Kick-Off Party! It is a chance to connect with other young professionals in Des Moines and to discover what YPC has to offer in the new year! The Iowa Wolves are hosting YPC at the Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday, February 3rd beginning at 6:00 PM. Game starts at 7PM! Tickets are limited so be sure to get your ticket early!!
What can you look forward to?...
- Courtside tickets
- Basketball shootout on the court after the game
- Free drink voucher - courtesy of the Iowa Wolves!
- Bottomless popcorn
- Additional perks and prizes will be offered to lucky attendees throughout the event!
- We are also collaborating with local nonprofit program, Long Shots! Long Shots program participants will also be present at the game and join YPC in the post-game basketball shootout!
Where Basketball Meets Community!
Long Shots annual 3-on 3 youth basketball tournament — Co-hosted by B.Well Foundation and The Dojo — brings together coaches, community members and athletes to be competitive without a financial obligation.
Each of the five metro high schools received a $1,000 award from the event to begin an opportunity to pay it forward in their schools.
Supporting the students in this way will teach them valuable lessons in how to support and care for their own communities as they become active citizens in the years to come. Planting the seed now is essential in the development and progress of our community.
