Adulting 101 is a 90 to 120 minute interactive event designed to equip young professionals with essential real-world skills that aren’t typically taught in school. Through three engaging speaker-led sessions focused on managing money, navigating careers, and handling major life logistics, attendees will gain practical tools to thrive in early adulthood. The event also includes a LinkedIn headshot booth (local photographer likely a student/small business), resume review station (corporate recruiter/hiring manager), and time to network with local experts. Hosted by the Young Professionals Connection of Des Moines, this workshop-style event is all about helping our members feel more confident and prepared to “adult” in the real world.
