Back-to-School Teacher Appreciation Trivia Night

Educators play a vital role in not only shaping children's future but also our countries future. They inspire, motivate, and guide students in positive directions that they might not have known was possible. We all have that one teacher, coach, counselor, and or facility member who has made an impact in our lives.

Please join us in recognizing those educators who make a difference in our communities every single day for our 2nd Annual Back-to-School Teacher Appreciation Trivia night! Each round of trivia questions will have a subject theme ranging from science to music/art to health. Local comedian and YPC Member, Jeremiah Scavo, will be entertaining us as MC throughout the night.

YPC Members & Guests, please register by clicking the red button above. Educators, please use the Google Form to RSVP - we want to know which school supplies you are in most need. Every educator will leave with a "Iowa Needs Teachers" tote bag from Gia Rose Designs, and attendees will receive a discount on their drinks by donating school supplies (wish list will b e communicated via email soon).

Meet Comedian, Jeremiah Scavo
Jeremiah Scavo is an award-winning video producer, social media marketer, and comedian. He began his career in 2005 as a photojournalist at KCCI-8 News in Des Moines, where he won numerous awards including an Emmy and the Iowa Broadcast News Association's best photography award in 2012. In 2013, Scavo left news for a career in marketing that allowed him to travel all over the world producing video content for some of the largest brands in the industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing fields. Scavo is currently the owner of Prog Media in Des Moines, a video production and marketing agency that helps to build a social presence and relationship with clients' customers through social media marketing. In addition, Jeremiah Scavo is a stand-up comedian who has toured across the United States with Transparent Comedy Tour and an active YPC Member. He has produced a comedy series, launching this fall, that takes a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road with a bunch of ragtag midwest comedians.
