Cyrille Aimée at Sheslow Auditorium

Civic Music Association and YPC are proud to invite all YPC members to experience Cyrille and her band, in performance, at Drake University’s intimate Sheslow Auditorium.

Live music and tasty treats are best enjoyed in the company of friends.  Gather a friend – or a group – for an enjoyable evening of world class music and excellent drinks and dessert in an intimate venue. 
 
Cyrille Aimée is a French-Dominican jazz vocalist who, through a combination of curiosity, friendship, and pure happenstance won first prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival. She entered the competition on a whim and used the prize money to finance her first album.  And if that wasn't enough, Cyrille was a finalist on the French version of American Idol. But when she was told she had to sing only what she was told to sing, she walked away from the competition. Now that takes confidence and complete conviction to the music you love!
