Event Description:
The Dinner Around Des Moines series introduces YPC members to different cultural restaurants around the Des Moines metro and celebrates cultural diversity through food. This month we will dine at Panka Peruvian Restaurant in the Ingersoll neighborhood. Panka's mission is to share the richness, colors, and diversity of genuine Peruvian cuisine through a variety of ingredients like fresh seafood and fish, for instance in their ceviches. YPC members who attend will also receive a complimentary round of Peruvian cocktails/mocktails.
Because of limited space and a complimentary round of drinks, this is a YPC members only event. Members are invited to come enjoy a night of good food and culture. The owners of Panka will talk about the intersection of culture and cuisine at Panka, and what their food tells us about their family and culture.
