Event Description:
Welcome to the Diversity & Culture Committee monthly meeting! Any YPC member or potential member is welcome to attend. At our monthly meetings, we discuss current issues, have guest speakers, and plan events from big to small around the arts, culture, diversity, and inclusion. Come as you are, have a good time, and learn something new!
APRIL MEETING -- Special Date/Time/Location
To celebrate the flowering crab apple trees, this month, we're having a picnic meeting at Arie Den Boer Arboretum in Water Works Park on Sunday, April 29th, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Park near the gazebo (at the arboretum's southern tip) and bring your lunch! We'll be having a picnic on the grass. The main topic of discussion will be an informal presentation on the city's master plan of improvements for Water Works Park and Gray's Lake.
If you're ambitious, bring a bicycle and enjoy the bike trails in Water Works afterward. Or, take a stroll around the arboretum or Gray's Lake for an extra hour of relaxation during your afternoon.
