Event Description:
Did you know that COVID-19 accelerated the number of young retail investors participating in the stock market? In the past year, discretionary spending fell, savings rate rose, and combined with a slower pace of life, more people are investing in the stock market.

If you don’t know where to start or just want to connect with more local investors, join YPC this month for our Financial Literacy 101 Series to learn all about the basics of the stock market. YPC’s own Secretary/Treasurer and stock enthusiast will take us through an engaging and interactive four week series that mirrors his own journey as a self-taught investor. At the end of each session, we will be joined by a financial advisor for a Q&A session to answer any burning questions you may have.

Week One
  1. What is a Stock?
  2. What are the Stock Market Exchanges?
  3. What are Stock Brokerages?
  4. Q&A
