Guy Leman, Certified Financial Planner at Compass Financial, will lead an interactive workshop on navigating the maze of employee benefits and obtaining what you really need. Every year at open enrollment time, there are numerous options for benefits/insurance and endless abbreviations - HSA, FSA, AD&D, HDHP, etc. This workshop will dive into the world of employee benefits and help young professionals make the best decisions for themselves (and their family)...without paying a premium for things that you don't need. How do I know when I need insurance? What types of insurance is best for me? Do I really need disability insurance if I have medical insurance? Explore creative insurance options for young professionals in part 5 of the financial literacy workshop series.
