Part 7 of the Financial Literacy Series: Identity Risk Management
Just how much of your personal information is stored online? As the world wide web continues to evolve and expand into every area of life, the trend of placing our entire financial profile into the cloud continues. There are many advantages of using the internet for online purchases, investment opportunities, banking, paying bills, debt management, etc., but what are some of the risks involved with entrusting so many organizations with our vital information? Matthew McGill, Information Security Consultant at Pratum, will demonstrate practical ways one can introduce security to mitigate risk while maximizing overall use in their personal financials.

As an Information Security Consultant at Pratum, Matthew McGill is responsible for helping clients establish thorough risk management programs and strong security postures. He is an experienced secure software developer and offers technical guidance to Pratum's clients and consultants. Prior to working at Pratum, McGill gained experience leading web development and infrastructure projects at an innovative software firm and Fortune 500 company in the financial industry. McGill graduated Magna Cum Laude from Iowa State University Honors Program with a degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Information Security.
