Part 6 of the Financial Literacy Workshop Series: Life Insurance & Estate Planning
Join Young Professionals Connection (YPC) for a workshop on life insurance & estate planning with three main goals: (1) summarize U.S. estate taxes; (2) explain the documents you need as a young professional (and when you need them) for estate planning & life insurance; and (3) discuss how life insurance can help protect you and your (young) family. After the workshop led by Colin Hendricks, Attorney with BrownWinick Law Firm in Des Moines, you will understand how a proper estate plan achieves your current goals and grows with you and your family. 

Colin L. Hendricks is an attorney with BrownWinick and has a general practice including, but not limited to, wills, estate, and succession planning; agribusiness; tax; and corporate and business transactions. Hendricks graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015, receiving his B.B.A. in Economics, with highest honors. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2018, receiving his J.D., with high honors and high distinction and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif. Hendricks is also an active member of Young Professionals Connection (YPC) in Des Moines.
