Join YPC for a tour of the World Food Prize's Hall of Laureates building on Wednesday, November 6! Learn all about the World Food Prize, the world's foremost award for recognizing contributions to the fight against global hunger. The Hall of Laureates building, situated on the Des Moines River, was recently restored and features historic architecture and over 100 works of original art that celebrate food, agriculture, and Iowa's humanitarian heritage. The Hall of Laureates was previously the Des Moines Public Library. Following the tour, our group will meet with Maedeline Goebel, WFP Community Outreach Director, to discuss the World Food Prize Foundation.
