Event Description:
Iowa International Center (IIC) and Young Professionals Connection (YPC) are excited to host the Passport to Prosperity Scavenger Hunt. This free walking scavenger hunt will be outdoors and highlight some of the diverse locations, stores, and organizations in the downtown Des Moines and East Village area. Join IIC and YPC as we showcase some of the great diversity of our city! Participate alone or in a team of up to 4 people.

Sign up by visiting IIC's Passport to Prosperity Week and searching for the Scavenger Hunt event section of the webpage. 

YPC will also be hosting a post-scavenger hunt gathering at Peace Tree Brewery (starting after 5PM) where individuals will receive buy one get one free (BOGO) on their first beer if they show proof of scavenger hunt participation!

This event is part of IIC's 2022 Passport to Prosperity Week. Passport to Prosperity Week recognizes outstanding refugees and immigrants that have made Iowa a better place to live. They serve as inspiration in their passion and success amidst challenging circumstances. This week of activities celebrates our global community in Iowa and features the culture, accomplishments, and personal stories of our honorees. The week includes in effort to provide a safe and inclusive experience there will be a mix of virtual and in-person events, for everyone. The week consists of: a free webinar, a free trivia night, a free scavenger hunt, an international snack box to-go, and an award gala. Join us in celebration of our honorees and the global community we have in Iowa!
