Event Description:
Over the course of our lives, we will encounter many situations of informal and formal leadership opportunities. Through this interactive and fun workshop, participants will better understand how to lead, interact and succeed with their top strengths. This workshop will allow you to self reflect on your strengths, how to apply them and connect with others on your top opportunities. This workshop is based on the philosophies of the StrengthsFinder assessment, however, you do not need to have taken the assessment to participate. If you have taken the assessment, feel free to bring your results with you.
About the Speaker: Jessie Cruise
Jessie Cruise is an HR Business Analyst at Principal.
An Iowa transplant from Arkansas, Cruise now considers herself a #DSMUSA advocate and serves as the 2019-2020 Young Professionals Connection (YPC) President. Cruise is a 2015 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, and she continues to give back to her alma mater by teaching leadership development courses in the UNI College of Business. In 2017 she was a finalist for the Young Professional of the Year - Amy Jennings Award. Cruise is also a certified Strengths Finder Coach, a wife to Evan, and a puppy mom to Sophie.
