Sips, Samples, and Sights

Young Professionals Connection is excited to host our 10th annual Sips, Samples, and Sights Architectural Walking Tour. Attendees will experience downtown Des Moines through a one-of-a-kind tour guided by the Iowa Architectural Foundation. The tour will cover a distance of approximately 1 mile and take participants to notable sites near Western Gateway Park. During stops along the tour, attendees will enjoy free samplings of unique foods and eclectic wine/beer in addition to networking with 50+ like-minded young professionals. This event continues to be one of the highest rated events YPC provides to our members. The event will start with social networking, followed by a walking architecture tour, and will finish up with a post tour reception. 

This year’s event seeks to instill in our attendees an understanding of how our past, present, and future are embedded in the built environment. Our experienced tour guides will walk us through the history and future of Downtown Des Moines as told through the architecture we experience everyday.
