Join Us for the 11th Annual Sips, Samples, and Sights Tour!
Young Professionals Connection is excited to host their 11th annual Sips, Samples, and Sights event in partnership with the Iowa Architectural Foundation, highlighting the vibrant East Village in Des Moines. This year, we're highlighting not just the architecture but also the incredible public art that enriches the East Village.
This is a one-of-a-kind tour guided by the Iowa Architectural Foundation. The tour will cover a distance of approximately 1 mile and take participants to notable sites in the East Village and will offer knowledge about public art as well, with a new partnership with the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation! We'll also dive into the upcoming Market District and some groundbreaking architectural and engineering innovations.
During stops along the tour, attendees will enjoy free samplings of unique foods and eclectic wine/beer/drinks in addition to networking with 75 young professionals from the Greater Des Moines region. This event continues to be one of the highest rated events YPC provides to their members.
The event will start with social networking, followed by an architecture tour, and will finish up with a post-tour reception. During our guided tour, we'll be trekking the streets and sidewalks of East Village and encourage attendees to dress comfortably. Please know that Sips, Samples, Sights happens rain or shine!
