Event Description:
The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Young Professionals Connection (YPC), an initiative of The Partnership, is excited to host a virtual presentation by the Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC). DMMC is a local non-profit organization and collaborative movement committed to building a stronger and more diverse music community in greater Des Moines.
DMMC’s Executive Director, Mickey Davis, and Program/Outreach Manager, Jordan Mayland, will discuss the history of the organization's 80/35 music festival, work in the community, and survey results about DSM artists/industry professionals impacted by the pandemic. From there we will conduct a Q&A with YPC members and provide information on how to get involved with the growing music scene in 2022! There also may be a sneak peek at the 80/35 2022 music lineup so be sure to tune in until the end of the presentation!
