Volunteer at Make-A-Wish's Annual Gala

Every wish is a chance to build on imagination, creating something unique and personal. Help Make-A-Wish Iowa as we encourage every eligible child  in Iowa to WISH BOLD! Currently there are 369 Wishes waiting to be granted – Make-A-Wish’s annual gala helps provide the support and funding for those wishes to come true.

As a volunteer, you would eat dinner then help with the silent auction after dinner, passing out items to winners. The after party typically starts around 9 PM where volunteers will help with tearing down the ballroom, helping with games, and selling merchandise at the after party. All volunteers will be provided instructions at the beginning of the night.

Recommended dress: Formal attire but wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be moving around!
