Volunteer at the Principal Charity Classic

The Principal Charity Classic is an annual PGA TOUR Champions event in Des Moines, Iowa. The tournament’s mission? Helping Iowa kids succeed! Since 2007, the Principal Charity Classic has raised more than $23 million (and counting) for Iowa children’s charities.

Join us Sunday, June 4th at beautiful Wakonda Club in Des Moines. MercyOne Des Moines Foundation is in need of hole marshal volunteers and has asked YPC to help with this great cause! MercyOne is sponsoring hole six. What does that actually entail? As marshals we will ensure players are not disturbed during play, spot balls, assist with starting tents when necessary and enforce crowd control and golf etiquette among spectators.

As a volunteer, you will receive:

• Official volunteer uniform: a golf shirt, a hat or visor, and a Principal Charity Classic lanyard

• Free admission to the tournament - your credentials will serve as your ticket

• complimentary food, snacks, and beverages on the day you volunteer

• Free parking and shuttle service provided at Southridge Mall

• Eligible for prizes drawn randomly throughout tournament week

You will need to sign up through YPC's website and then you will receive a link and code to register on Principal Charity Classic's webpage. It is critical that you sign up on both platforms to receive complimentary registration, volunteer day information, and know what to expect.
