Event Description:
Meals From the Market is a program created to accept fresh food donations from Market patrons, vendors and the entire community to help feed the hungry in the local community. This program provides thousands of pounds of fresh food to Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) emergency pantries where it is distributed throughout DSM. Join us at the Riverwalk Hub at 11:00am for instructions and to volunteer your time at the Farmers Market. After collecting items, we will head to the DMARC location for a tour of their facility.
