Halloween on the Hill is organized by the Sherman Hill neighborhood (501c3 nonprofit) and this will be the 10
th year that the primary beneficiary is DMARC. It has become the premier family event on Halloween and continues to grow!
Tasks involved for volunteers:
- Block off streets with city barricades/open up at end
- Collect donations for DMARC pantry and hand out maps
- Help greet and direct participants where to go
Volunteers are meeting at Hoyt Sherman Place at 5:30pm to check in to get our collection point location and our free volunteer t-shirt. The event officially starts at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30pm. Volunteer shifts would go to about 9PM (cushion to help open up the streets and secure donations). Everyone will get the opportunity to enjoy the event as well! One hour shifts would be ideal and we can switch out volunteers at our location throughout the night.
