Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in our community while having a blast? We’ve got an exciting opportunity coming up, and we want you to be a part of it! Join us for “Connections on the Green” on Thursday, May 30th, an event where the Principal Charity Classic and Young Professionals Connection are teaming up to host a unique youth clinic opportunity during the Principal Charity Classic. It’s all about broadening community connections and having fun while teaching kids the fundamentals of golf (with a few other sports experiences). As a volunteer you will help setup for the event, welcome our guests, direct them to the appropriate locations. Our goal with the Youth Clinic is to demystify golf and connect youth to the future professional development opportunities that can come from being familiar with the sport.
But, wait there’s more! After the clinic, we’ll dive into a networking session like no other. Get ready to connect with influential community leaders and engage in a dynamic networking session focusing on the impact intentional inclusion and connections can have on fostering a sense of belonging that advances our community beyond what we could ever imagine! It’s your chance to learn from Des Moines’ business leaders and make meaningful connections that shape your future.
Why should you volunteer? Well, aside from the warm fuzzies you’ll get from giving back, this
event is an incredible opportunity to expand your network, gain valuable insights from seasoned
professionals, and show your commitment to making our community more inclusive. Volunteers will also receive a complimentary grounds ticket to attend the Principal Charity Classic as a thank you for your support. Ticket will be valid any one day Friday May 31st – June 2nd
