Event Description:
As downtown Des Moines grows and develops, come and join the Impact Downtown Committee to explore downtown in a fun and unique way for this year’s YPC Downtown Scavenger Hunt. You and your team will use #DSMUSA‘s own DART transit system to zip along the free downtown D-Line to solve clues around this year’s theme of “The Past, Present, and Future of Transportation in Downtown Des Moines.”
The only thing you’ll need on the day of the event is a camera phone and your wits. We’ll provide clues, maps, Scavenger Hunt rules, and transportation (that’s the bus!). And if that wasn’t enough, this year’s hunt will be chock full of freebies, starting with an after-hunt social with FREE appetizers and one FREE drink ticket at Quinton’s Bar and Deli in the East Village, as well as other goodies you can collect throughout the Scavenger Hunt.
Teams will be groups of 4 YPs. If you have a team before the event, just send an e-mail to impactdowntown@ypcdsm.com to let us know! Don’t have a team? No worries, we’ll organize teams on the day of the event too. We’ll be at Quinton’s Bar and Deli on Saturday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. Come join us!
