This will be a chance for current members as well as potential new members to get together and socialize. The event will start at 5:30 PM and then wrapping up around 8:30 PM. Come out and enjoy time together and catch up with new and old friends and colleagues. Network with fellow young professionals and members from the Des Moines Metropolitan Opera's (DMMO) 2019 class of the Apprentice Artist Program. Special performance by DMMO Apprentice Artists.
The DMMO Apprentice Artist Program is celebrating its 45 year during the 2019 season as one of the oldest, largest, and most respected training programs for young opera professionals in America. Artist apprentices come from across the country and participate in a seven-week training program designed to provide the skills necessary to bridge the gap between academic study and a professional career.
