WHAT IS ONE DES MOINES?
One Des Moines is a community-wide service event hosted by Young Professionals Connection that focuses on providing young professionals opportunities to volunteer their professional services to nonprofits throughout Greater Des Moines.WHAT WOULD I DO?
Use your skills to volunteer at a Greater Des Moines nonprofit by using your Volunteer Time Off (VTO) or PTO if offered through your employer! Simply sign up at the link above, attend the volunteer kickoff event, and then serve with a nonprofit! All are welcome to volunteer.I SIGNED UP. NOW WHAT?
A One Des Moines kickoff event will be held on Monday, July 16 to assign volunteering roles. Various appetizers will be served. Feel free to come any time between 5-7 p.m. to receive your assignment for a volunteering role. If you cannot attend, you will receive your role assignment via email.VOLUNTEER DATES:
